Entretoise bras oscillant

salut les cornacs,

vu à l'instant sur facebook, les hollandais lancent une fabrication des entretoises des bras oscillants. C'est suffisamment rare pour être partagé car je crois bien que la pièce neuve n'est plus disponible. Cela sera pour les AC, les ie, les Gran Canyon. Ils peuvent fournir un kit comprenant les entretoises, les joints, les roulements ou juste les entretoises. A vous de voir.

Swingarm bushings!!

Dear friends,

For years we have been searching for a company that would be able and willing to make replacements for the swingarm bushings that go in the bearings of the swingarm of our Elefants. Unfortunately, all attempts failed, either due to pricing or because the company could not cater the relative low volumes of this not so easy to manufacture component.

Finally, we can bring you good news! Our Dutch friend and fellow Elefant rider Vincent van Hoogdalem, of cagivaparts.eu fame, has found a company willing to produce these parts, and for quite a reasonable price in my opinion. That is however, dependent of the amount of bushings that can be ordered in one run. Fortunately the minimum amount to get low pricing is not as high as a few years back!

If you know someone else with an Elefant that might not have received this message, feel free to forward.

- Each Elefant (or Gran Canyon) needs 4 bushings

- N-type and 900ie have 2 different bushings, later models have 4 different bushings

- All types can be arranged

- If we can get enough registrations, pricing will be € 30,= per bushing, which means € 120,= per set of 4, excluding shipping costs and eventual Paypal surcharge (which we will try to prevent off course)

- Due to the total investment needed, advanced payment will be required. It is not something that Vincent and I can carry alone as you will understand. Details will follow.

- If desired, full complement needle bearings and seals to make a full replacement kit can be arranged as well, just let me know.

- We are working on an intake list, hopefully something online, but at the moment, please email me directly if you are seriously interested, with the amount of sets, the type of bike(s), and if you would require bearings and seals as well.
