Le canal CEC (Cagiva Elefant Club) international vient de lancer une date complètement non-finale pour tâter le terrain pour le Treffen en Italie.

Actuellement, cela s'orienterait vers les 25-26-27 Juin 2010.

Gavin R. est en pourparlés avec Fabrizio Azzalin pour la visite du CHR (Cagiva Husqvarna Racing), ce dernier proposant de visiter cette usine, mais uniquement pour voir ce qui se passe côté Husqvarna puisqu'il explique qu'il n'y a plus rien côté Cagiva Racing "old time"...
Il nous informe aussi que Orioli et De Petri sont sur le coup, et qu'il doit prendre contact le 25 avec Monsieur Castiglioni himself pour la visite de l'usine MVAgusta/Cagiva...

On en est là, ce topic est lancé, chacun peut commencer à s'organiser pour le grand départ, sachant que les dates peuvent encore bouger...

Ici, on est quelques uns à déjà être sur les dents

A priori, à Varèse soit une soixantaine de KMS au nord de MILAN.

Pour ma part, je me prépare à cet évènement. A priori, je passerai par le centre mais d'ici là.

Faut les pneus à clous ou les chaines pour le Parpaillon

Rien de tout celà, avec des bons pneus route, ça le fait aussi. Les pistes sont très larges et très roulantes

Je rappelle à ceux qui ne le sauraient pas, que lors de notre traversée du Parpaillon, fin juin 2007 (comme le temps passe vite), nous avions trouvé une immense congère de neige et verglas mêlés au milieu du tunnel. Son franchissement, 1 par 1 avec l'aide des 3 autres avait été un moment de bravoure et de franche rigolade.

Ce qui reste un bon souvenir, pourrait dans les mêmes conditions, rapidement tourner à la galère avec une moto chargée pour un long périple, sans parler de conditions météorologiques défavorables (on est en montagne!).

Autour de Serre Ponçon le lac, il y a trois circuits sympas:
Le Parpaillon, Réallon, et Colombis.
C'est sur la route d'italie.
Mais il ne faut pas trop s'éparpiller non plus.
Ca fera l'objet d'une sortie printanière....

Et a cote du Lac de Come, du Lac majeur, de Lugano, du Saint Gothard (Ils sont quasiment en Suisse...) Que du bonheur!

Aucune idee de ce que je vais faire a cette date, Mais ce me tente bien. J'y etais passe en Aout mais l'usine etait fermee. C'est a Schiranna a cote de Varese.

Evy et moi, traverserons les Alpes par la route, je pense aussi qu'une virée TT printaniere est plus sympa pour traverser ces cols.

Une fois là bas nous resterons sur place environ une semaine si le destin le permet, afin de faire plus ample connaissance avec les petites routes qui relient ces grands lacs

Gentlemen......... finally after many weeks of discussion a date has been agreed for the 2010 International Treffen .

The event will take place from Thursday 24th - Sunday 27th of June this year in Cannobio, Northern Italy.
The general organization of this meeting is being shared between the different member groups i.e.. Italians, Germans, Dutch, Austrians, etc etc

The basic plan is for the event to start on the Thursday followed on Friday by a "Special Factory Glory day" at a venue near Varese, (approx 50 mins from the campsite) involving the Rallye Factory Racing Prototypes from CH Racing and Cagiva.

There is also hope, of some Rallye Riders being in attendance whilst the Prototypes are on show, along with some CH Racing Customer bikes from the elefant community.

The plan is to celebrate the elefant and the Rallye success and the theme will be of adventure.

The actual venue will be in Cannobio at a dedicated camp site, full details and method of booking will be posted by April, on the website as the final deal has YET to be struck (re: costs) with the camp site. The camp site is fully equipped with a restaurant, shower blocks, laundry and chalets BUT the actual booking must be done though them. BUT please do not book with any yet, as we need the block booking to get the costs right. And we choice of 2...so don‘t book the wrong one...otherwise you will be in a field... on your own!

The overall aim is to keep costs to a low level, other than the arranging the "Special Factory day" along with evening meals at the campsite and in Cannobio, the Treffen will be fairly relaxed and down to the individuals concerned.

BUT please....remember.... we are still at the finalizing stages with Cagiva, CH Racing and the campsite...but ALL agree the date!
